Keeper
Alphonse Areola (West Ham): His team were close to being six behind at Bournemouth if it wasn't for him. Crucial performance, rose to the occasion and showed real class. Superb shot-stopping to secure a 2-2 draw. A loss could have dismantled their campaign.
Defenders
Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's in the running for player of the season. Many discuss Gunners' stars. He has been the standout player without doubt.
Murillo (Nottingham Forest): It would take a wild optimist to say 'He scores and we defeat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. The odds were massive odds on that. He was excellent. He is emerging as a powerhouse. He can really be a tough opponent. I'm happy to watch him perform like last season.
Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I observed him multiple matches the previous season in Italy for AC Milan and he was getting killled because he was making mistakes. But at Newcastle he's impressed greatly. He displays great strength and forceful and seems polished. It seems he has discovered a spiritual home.
Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not naturally a full-back, leaning towards a attacking-minded in attack. He has proven to be a wonderful signing for Brighton. Few are astonished at them finding another gem out of nowhere? Many felt when they got rid of Pervis Estupinan that was strange but the Seagulls understand better than most.
Engine room
Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Two of the same type and they make it for the same reason. Their teams won, everyone will talk those who netted, but absent these individuals the squads falter. They excel. They break up play, they support going forward.
Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The standout performer. A lot of followers, including my son, expressed skepticism about his ability as the man to get them over the top. Three goals in the local rivalry and supporters now wish to make a statue of him. Scoring, calmness, he controlled the game. The standout individual on the pitch.
Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Maybe this is thing that I agree with Thomas Tuchel on - he has got to a point now where it is extremely tough to leave him out. I didn't think his beginning was strong the term, I think he seemed somewhat presumptuous and hoped he might have got a move to Chelsea, and perhaps aimed for that, but he has found his footing. Two superb finishes obviously against Leeds pulled his side when trailing. He proved decisive.
Attackers
Callum Wilson (West Ham): I mentioned he doesn't look his normal self. He appeared as if he'd lost a yard. But wow. Simply phenomenal. He was excellent. Phenomenal in his approach and in his dual goals.
Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A really interesting player. He plays well, typically sharper off the bench, but with Gordon sidelined so he must start. He missed a huge chance against Manchester City at 0-0 with his most straightforward effort. But to have the psychological strength to place himself into tough scenarios and get a brace was great.
Coach
Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He arrives and beats Arne Slot. A superb tactical approach. Possibly it was several more for Forest and few would dispute.
