The former president's Family Member Gets Professional Tips from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA Debut
The rising star boasts impressive online presence
The young golfer can count on numerous high-profile cheerleaders as she makes her first LPGA appearance later this week.
The 18-year-old athlete, who is related to Donald Trump, received a special exemption to compete at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, possesses multiple golf courses and often matches against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we play competitive games," she revealed.
Kai explained that Trump, unable to come, counseled her: "Just stay calm."
"He essentially suggested to go out there and enjoy myself," she added.
"In my eyes, he's simply an ordinary family member. He's not attending for the tournament. He's focused on presidential duties, so he's somewhat preoccupied."
Being non-professional, the golfer has participated in a mere three competitions recently and holds ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.
But she's able to get advice from golf legend, romantically involved with Kai's mother.
"He is the top athlete worldwide," Kai stated.
"And he's an even better individual. He suggested me to go out there, have fun, following the flow."
Kai will face several the biggest names in the sport at this tournament, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
The LPGA stated that involving Kai brings golf to new audiences, especially with youth audiences.
The social media influencer has a massive following and just introduced an exclusive clothing and lifestyle label.
The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
