Eulogies Flow for Rob and Michele Reiner as Autopsy Reports Are Sealed.

Over a fortnight after the tragic deaths of esteemed filmmaker Rob Reiner and his partner, photographer Michele Reiner, the entertainment community persist in remembering the couple.

Quoting a Classic: Cary Elwes Remembers His Director

Sharing on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who rose to fame in Reiner's iconic movie *The Princess Bride*, explained he finally felt prepared to share openly about his deep grief.

"Adequate time has passed that I can at last put my grief into words," wrote Elwes, adding that his initial encounter with Reiner left him smitten. "As we began spending more time together I realized this was someone I wanted in my life."

The actor posted behind-the-scenes footage from the film, adding that he cannot recall "one day without laughter".

"The film is about love, loyalty and sacrifice. Values that Rob cherished deeply. That is part of the many reasons he was the perfect person to helm it," Elwes continued.

He additionally honored Michele Reiner, saying: "Claiming that they were a great team would be an understatement. My heart still aches every time I recall you." He finished with a line from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but living is anguish without you."

Martin Scorsese Remembers a Fellow Artist

In a distinct essay, acclaimed director Martin Scorsese shared memories of Reiner, whom he initially encountered in the 1970s.

"Immediately, I loved spending time with Rob. We had a innate rapport for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes acutely humorous, but he was never the kind of guy who would command the room," Scorsese said.

Scorsese pointed out Reiner's supporting role in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, playing the father of the lead role.

"He could improvise with the best. He was a master at comedy, he worked beautifully with everyone, and he understood the emotional dilemma of his character," Scorsese wrote.

Judicial Actions: Autopsy Reports Sealed

This week, a Los Angeles court official ruled to bar the disclosure of the Reiners' medical examiner's reports, at the request from the local authorities.

A court order put a security hold on the files to restrict the public release of "all case details, notes, reports or photos" pertaining to the ongoing investigation.

The Medical Examiner's office had already determined their deaths were the outcome of murder, with a official listing citing the cause as "injuries from a sharp object".

Aftermath and Reactions

After the tragedy, public figures expressed varying responses.

Ex-President Donald Trump wrote on the matter, making provocative statements that were met with immediate backlash by many individuals.

Podcaster Joe Rogan contributed his voice to the detractors last week. Conversing on his show, Rogan characterized the comments as "shocking" and suggested they revealed a troubling deficiency of sympathy.

Rogan concluded by proposing that an adviser should have stepped in when the impulse to speak on the death was made.
