Under Observation for Minor Injuries

The boxer had remained in the hospital while recovering from minor injuries, his management team stated earlier on Monday. The Lagos state commissioner for information, Gbenga Omotoso, said in a statement on X that Joshua was deemed clinically fit to continue his recovery at home.

“Anthony and his mother were at the funeral home in Lagos this afternoon to say their last goodbyes to his two friends who passed away as they were being made ready for the journey back,” the official remarked.

A Tribute to the Fallen

The two men who died were identified as Latif Ayodele, a fitness coach, and Sina Ghami, a conditioning specialist. Omotoso added that the athlete was heartbroken and deeply emotional over the tragic loss of his two trusted companions.”

His release from the hospital comes as the sports world offered its support for the fighter in the aftermath of the devastating accident.
